Shannon DeWall has always been interested in helping people. Before law school, she was a genetic counselor for 17 years, helping patients understand their genetic test results.
After many years of helping people navigate the health care system, Shannon developed an interest in helping people navigate other complex areas of life and decided to go to law school.
Shannon attended Western Michigan University Cooley Law School where she graduated in the top 15% of her class.
While in law school, she received the highest grade in her class for Property Law, Estate Planning, and Michigan Legal Research. She did all of this (with lots of help from her husband) while working full-time and raising a family.
